For each project that XL Construction embarks upon, we assemble a team of specialists to meet the needs of your projects. Our team members are drawn from these various areas of expertise:
The XL Principals: An XL Principal is assigned to each project. We believe that this level of attention sets XL apart from other Bay Area construction firms.
The XL Preconstruction Department: Our dedicated preconstruction department helps tightly manage and control costs and schedules during your design.
The XL Executives: Our Executives embody our company's commitment to total customer service. They not only know the construction business inside and out, they also know your business – whether that's healthcare, advanced technology, biopharmaceuticals, or private education.
The XL Project Engineers, Managers and Project Superintendents: For each project, we create a team of engineers, managers and superintendents carefully selected to meet your specific construction needs.
The XL General Superintendents: Without a doubt, some of the most experienced Superintendents in the industry. In particular, our General Superintendents have extensive experience with ground-up construction in the healthcare, biopharmaceutical, and microelectronics markets.
XL MEP Management: XL recognizes that the MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) portion of work can represent more than 50% of a project's value in the kind of projects we specialize in. As a result, we have dedicated MEP professionals, with varied experience in control systems, HVAC high purity water systems, cGMP piping, refrigeration, and electrical systems. And an on-staff licensed mechanical engineers who manage our MEP services.
XL Safety Department: We maintain a site-specific safety plan for each project, and we provide mandatory safety training programs for all our employees and subcontractors.
XL's Skilled Craftspeople: XL regularly self-performs: doors, frames and hardware, rough carpentry and concrete with its talented team of craftspeople.
