After working in the construction business for years, Eric Raff and Dave Beck joined forces in 1992 and founded XL Construction. They chose the name "XL Construction" because they wanted their employees, subcontractors, and clients to know that their company's foremost mission was to EXCEL in each project they executed and to commit themselves to complete customer satisfaction. Within a few short years, XL Construction tackled some of the industry's most challenging and interesting projects, and their client list continued to grow. To support this growth, Mario Wijtman, a long-time leader in the biopharmaceutical sector, joined Eric and Dave as a partner in 1998.
