Data Center Experts Share Innovative Solutions at XL-Hosted Event
More than 90 members and guests of the Critical Facilities Round Table (CFRT) gathered at XL Construction on March 25 to hear data center experts discuss innovative tools and solutions that are creating more reliable, efficient and cost effective mission critical facilities.
In a moderated discussion led by KC Mares, XL’s Director of Mission Critical Projects, participants learned how one planned facility – The Reno Technology Park - is maximizing local environmental resources and leveraging local tax advantages to keep costs down while still providing high reliability and capacity.
With an increasing demand for data center capacity, cost containment and efficiency, choosing the right location for a data center site is key. XL’s team of data center experts has more than 1,600,000 s.f. of data center construction experience, including site selection and assessment, energy efficiency improvements, capacity analysis and construction management.
CFRT, a non-profit organization for critical facilities owners and operators, provides an open forum for members and guests to share information and learn about cutting-edge solutions for the challenges of their day-to-day critical facilities operations.
