New Projects

Kaiser Permanente, San Ramon Medical Office Building, San Ramon, CA: Kaiser has once again selected XL to build out one of their new medical office buildings, based on XL's team, approach, experience and competitive price. The 70,000 s.f. project on three floors includes structural upgrades to the existing building, site modifications, new HVAC units, and the build-out of exam rooms, general radiology, blood draw, satellite pharmacy, health education, administration, and associated support areas.

Kaiser Permanente, Arques Medical Office Building, Sunnyvale, CA: Through a process that measured project approach, schedule, team, experience, and cost, XL was selected as providing the overall best value to convert a 36,000 s.f. office building into a medical office building for Kaiser. The new MOB will house Allergy, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Pain Management and Acupuncture, Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, and Gerontology departments. 

Abbott. This 38,000 s.f CER expansion and tenant improvement project also includes an ISO 8 cleanroom.

Confidential Client. Core, shell, and interior upgrades to seven buildings totaling more than 200,000 s.f.

Kaiser Permanente. The installation of a new chiller and the replacement of existing systems in Kaiser's Medical Office Building on the Hayward campus.

John Muir. Relocating an existing cytology lab within the Concord Core Lab facility.

Kaiser Permanente. Structural and ADA upgrades on the San Francisco Campus.

Confidential Client. A 50,000 s.f. renovation of an existing biopharmaceutical research facility. Architectural work includes new casework, fume hoods, biosafety cabinets and special finishes. MEP work includes lab gasses, CDA, DI water distribution, new wet and dry HVAC equipment and a DDC control system. Specialty equipment included washers, autoclaves and UPS. Supporting office areas were also provided.

LMSS. Completely replacing a 90-ton chiller.

Kaiser Permanente. Installation of IT cable and fiber for a new dish and digital TV system and the installation of select interior and exterior signage. Elk Grove, CA.

NovaSolar Technologies. Tool fit-up and hook-up of U.S. facility in Fremont, CA.

USPS. Data center remodel project for the United States Postal Service.

Northrop Grumman. The design and construction of foundations and specialty equipment enclosures.

Confidential Client. A 22,500 s.f. class 100 cleanroom expansion.

The Clorox Company. A 370,000 s.f. tenant improvement project spanning six buildings. Improvements include office space, a cafeteria, laboratories and manufacturing facilities. Project is being designed and build for LEED certification.
