Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership & Oversight
    • Manage and mentor a team of AP specialists, ensuring accurate and timely invoice processing, subcontractor payments, and compliance.

  • Technology & Reporting
    • Maintain and improve AP-related systems including Viewpoint and Concur.
    • Generate, review, and present AP aging reports and other financial dashboards to senior leadership.
    • Manage and update the online payment schedule and drive process improvements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Collaborate with Project Managers, Procurement, and Legal on subcontractor compliance and payment issues.
    • Support month-end and year-end close activities in coordination with the accounting team.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of progressive AP experience, with 3+ years in a management or supervisory role.
  • Construction industry experience is required; strong knowledge of lien laws and subcontractor compliance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as Viewpoint and expense platforms like Concur highly desirable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

In accordance with California law, XL Construction is committed to providing a reasonable and good faith salary range for this position. The base salary range for the Accounts Payable Manager role is $95,000 to $119,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, internal equity, and market conditions. This role may also be eligible for an annual performance bonus and company benefits.

Position SummaryArrow Rental & Supply, a division of XL Construction, is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Delivery Driver to support our equipment rental and supply operations. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record, experience operating a stake bed truck, and a working knowledge of construction jobsite protocols. In addition to deliveries, this role involves warehouse support, customer service, and maintaining organized inventory and fleet assets.Key ResponsibilitiesDriving & Delivery 
  • Safely operate a stake bed truck to deliver rental equipment and materials to construction job sites

This role plays a critical part in implementing XLI’s safety programs and fostering a proactive culture of risk awareness and compliance.Responsibilities:
  • Assist and support the Director of Safety and Risk Management in executing XLI’s safety policies and procedures with the purpose of preventing accidents and injuries.
  • Conduct daily job site safety inspections, addressing unsafe conditions and work practices.
  • Oversee and support safety program implementation at the project level.
  • Lead or attend weekly site safety meetings and subcontractor pre-task planning sessions.
  • Stay current on safety best practices and maintain certifications in hazardous material remediation, confined space entry, fall protection, electrical safety, and PPE.
  • Serve as a trusted resource to project teams in delivering safe, high-quality construction work.
  • Participate in accident investigations, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Prepare safety performance metrics and reports.
  • Perform additional duties as directed by the Director of Safety and Risk Management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Associate degree in Environmental Health & Safety or equivalent combination of experience. CSP certification preferred.
  • 7–10 years of field construction experience at the foreman level or above.
  • 3–5 years of direct experience in construction safety.
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Salary Range: $81,000 – $130,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications in accordance with California pay transparency laws.
  • Typical starting compensation for this role ranges from $120,000 to $130,000.
  • Compensation may also include bonus eligibility and a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare, 401(k), PTO, and wellness programs.
