The construction industry is undergoing a transformation, and XL Construction, under the guidance of Co-Founder and Executive Vice President Dave Beck, is looking to lead the charge.

The construction industry is undergoing a transformation, and XL Construction, under the guidance of Co-Founder and Executive Vice President Dave Beck, is looking to lead the charge. The company recently completed a corporate campus in Sunnyvale, a groundbreaking 14-acre site that exemplifies innovation in development and sustainability. The campus features three mass timber buildings, a parking garage, a six-story office building, a two-story fitness center, and an event space, setting new standards for modern design and environmental responsibility.

XL Construction also played a key role as Google began exploring mass timber construction in 2018 as part of its mission to reduce its carbon footprint. XL was tasked with leading the design-build team—comprised of architect partner Michael Green Architecture and SERA Architect—to build the first mass timber office building on the campus, a five-story structure located at 1265 Borregas Ave.
