Hoover Elementary School Celebrates Topping-Off Milestone
A major milestone has been reached at Hoover Elementary School as the project officially topped off, marking significant progress on a transformative new campus for Palo Alto Unified School District.

Delivered under a Lease-Leaseback contract, the project represents a full campus replacement designed to create a modern, sustainable learning environment. The new school is being built entirely with TimberQuest™, an innovative prefabricated mass timber solution that accelerates delivery while reducing environmental impact.
Building a Future-Ready Campus
The 60,000 s.f. campus has been carefully planned to meet the district’s needs, featuring:
- Kindergarten Classroom Building: 4,500 s.f., single story
- Library & Administration Building: 7,500 s.f., single story
- Main Classroom Building: 37,500 s.f., two stories
- Multipurpose Building: 7,000 s.f.
Beyond the new facilities, site upgrades include redesigned drop-off and pick-up areas aimed at improving both safety and accessibility for students and families.
A Collaborative Effort
This milestone would not have been possible without the collaboration of dedicated partners, including Elevated Construction Services, LLC., Bradley Concrete, Daedalus Structural Engineering, Aedis Architects, TimberQuest™, and Palo Alto Unified School District.
Together, this team is shaping a state-of-the-art campus that combines sustainability, speed of delivery, and an exceptional environment for learning.
