XL Construction completed the transformation of an existing occupied tilt-up warehouse into 26,000 s.f. behavioral health clinic. Since the original building only had a few windows, the XL team installed 13 solar tubes throughout the space to allow natural light to flow throughout. The existing space was gutted to make way for state-of-the-art clinical spaces with comforting high-end finishes. The back entry was converted to the front entrance and new fencing and pathways connected it to the adjacent Kaiser building. The building received all new IT equipment and designated building power. The XL team worked with the client to find a solution that met the high Sound Transmission Class (STC) rating the facility required. The team also took extreme measures to minimize disruptions for co-tenants, a data center and EMR dispatch center.
