SKS - Assembly at North First Street

XL Construction completed the adaptive reuse of a three building, 300,000 s.f. campus for SKS Investments and Prospect Hill Group with Invesco Real Estate. The extensive renovation repositions the campus site with contemporary design and functionality. XL gutted all three existing tilt-up buildings, constructed a 50,000 s.f. addition, creating a central “paseo” in between two of the existing buildings, completed a warm shell build-out; installed new HVAC systems; and conducted one-acre of site work. XL also completed additions to buildings 3960 and 3930 and rebuilt a new lobby in building 4000. XL demolished a two-story cleanroom and transformed the space into a new mezzanine in one of the buildings. The adjacent outdoor amenity space includes landscape, an indoor/outdoor workout area, a BBQ area, outdoor pizza ovens, outdoor firepits, and seating. The campus won the 2019 Silicon Valley Business Journal Structures Award for Best Rehab/Renovation Project.
