Tech Building

XL provided tenant improvements in an existing two-story, 100,000 s.f. building, transforming the first and second floor to technical spaces, including 3D printer labs, a machine shop, robotic testing space, and an RF shielded home environment. The project included site improvements, structural upgrades, and completely new MEP systems, including a mechanical chiller plant and three 2,000 kva electrical service upgrades. The project team used the preconstruction period to set the project up to achieve an aggressive construction schedule. The project is targeting LEED Gold certification.
