XL Construction relocated research and development tools and equipment, as well as support labs from a San Jose satellite building site of Western Digital (formerly HGST) to the company’s main campus in south San Jose. XL’s work included safe-off, packaging, transport, installation, fit-up, and tools commissioning all under a tight timeframe. Labs and clean space were constructed in 25,000 s.f. of several existing buildings to accommodate the incoming equipment.
